Apple and cinnamon tart

           Considering the fact that I just submitted my recipe for pastry dough,  I also prepared for some friends an absolutely delicious apple and cinnamon tart  and I decided to tell you my recipe for this, too. As usual, it is quite simple.

* tart dough made by this recipe
* one tablespoon butter
* 6 medium apples
* an egg
* 4 tablespoons sugar
* 1 tablespoon cinnamon

           First peel the apples and cut them into desired size slices.

           Then cook them in a butter until they soften. Add cinnamon and sugar and leave it for 2-3 minutes until the sugar melts.

           Leave the apples to cool down and lets make the pie dish ready.

           Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

           I used a 21 cm dish. Although the dough contains a lot of butter, I grease the dish with butter just to be extra safety.

           Stretch your dough so you will get a sheet just a little bit bigger than the pie dish.

[ Tip ] For easy transfer of the dough from your work bench to your dish, you can use a rolling pin.

           Stretch the dough on the bottom of the dish and then on the side. From the remaining dough I made some strips to decorate the tart.

           Put the apples in the pie dish and cover it with strips of dough. Brush the dough with a little bit of egg, sprinkle some sugar and bake for 30-40 min.

           My friends still had not arrived, so I quickly made some whipped cream. Usually I serve it with ice cream, but considering the weather outside, it wasn’t the best choice.

           Speaking of ice cream, does anyone know when will spring come?
